At Desert Haven AKC Chihuahuas, we are committed to breeding healthy, happy puppies that make great family pets, as well as high quality conformation or obedience show prospect puppies. Our breeding program is designed to produce puppies with excellent temperaments and sound conformation to the breed standard. We are an Embark Tested program and an active show program. Some dogs are owner handled and others are outside handled. 

We have a variety of puppies available for purchase to approved homes. All of our puppies are raised in our home with love and care. They are socialized to sights and sound with puppy enrichment to ensure they are well-adjusted and ready for their new homes. Available puppies under 10 weeks old will be found on our various nursery pages and once they are 10 weeks old, if they have not gone to a new family yet, they will be on the Ready to Go page. 

We want to make sure that every puppy finds the perfect home. We work with prospective clients offering photos and videos. Puppy prices may change as puppies age (typically increase), however, once a deposit is received, prices are locked in. We maintain relationships with our clients long after our babies enter their new homes. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way.

At Desert Haven, our commitment to our puppies doesn't end when they leave for their new homes. We value the relationships we build with our puppy families and are always available to offer guidance and support throughout your dog's life. Whether you have questions about training, nutrition, health or general care, we are happy to share our knowledge and experience. Our goal is to help every Desert Haven puppy thrive as a cherished member of the family.

 Desert Haven puppies are priced individually based on pedigree, conformation, size, coat type, color, and overall quality. Puppies from champion bloodlines or with champion parents are typically priced at a higher rate due to their exceptional pedigree and potential. AKC limited registration (pet) puppies typically begin at $2,500, while puppies offered with full AKC registration and breeding rights generally start at $3,000 and may be priced higher depending on pedigree, quality, and breeding potential. Show and performance prospects are evaluated on an individual basis and priced accordingly. Occasionally, discounts may be available for repeat buyers, military homes, approved show homes, performance homes, or other special circumstances at the breeder’s discretion. 

We are located in Goodyear, Arizona and offer multiple ways for you to get your puppy.  You are welcome to come to our home and meet us and pick up your puppy. We can meet you within reason by car. We happily meet at the Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) or the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) or if you will be spending then night, an airport local hotel. Finally, we have a couple wonderful puppy nannies who can be used to fly your puppy from us to you at your local airport and in rare cases puppies may be able to be shipped.
